XCLTM3
I have enabled the lights via "FTX Night_Lights.exe" but no street lights at dusk/night-time? Was really looking forward to seeing them in all their glory particularly with the new AU SP4.003. Any clue as to what else I can do/check? Many thanks. Mallard
No individually recognizable street lights themselves, or also no night lighting textures? If it's just the missing lights, check out this thread http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/66455-canberra-cityscape-3d-lights/?hl=%2Bcanberra+%2Blights Cheers Mallard (who also had to use the two files provided there)
Tim Harris
The FTXday/Night switcher no longer controls the streetlights within the Australian regions, as they are now the FTXglobal style lights, but the switcher does still control the streetlights for any custom AU Orbx airports not yet switched over (except Bathurst which already uses the new global lights) Try cycling FTXcentral between [Default] and [Oceania] pressing 'Apply' each time, then load up FSX at dusk or night in a major Australian city and recheck
XCLTM3
Thank you Tim & Mallard. Mallard: I read through the linked post you provided, and I figured out my problem - I have autogen set to none. Just tested it at various autogen settings and got the street lights. Such a shame, would of been great to have the 3D street lights irrespective of autogen setting (particularly if the street lights are minimal frame hits). Tim Harris
Urrm, that is sort why they are low impact, because they are autogen 'trees' with lightmaps, rather than 3d models with effects Marking as resolved.
