rockliffe Posted March 24, 2013 Share Posted March 24, 2013 While I noticed this coloured water in SAK, I have also noticed it elsewhere in Orbx sceneries. It just seeems to appear now and again. Holger Sandmann Posted March 24, 2013 Share Posted March 24, 2013 Hello Howard, indeed, that's intentional and represents shallow water with a high content of (glacial) silt. In fact, if you look at that area in top-down view you'll notice that it continues the "braided streams" pattern of the ground textures next to the shoreline for a bit and then transitions into a different color representing slightly deeper water. It's difficult to get "generic" water colors right in FSX since they are so heavily influenced by current sky, weather, and wave animation parameters but we're trying...
