Timing of Spring Textures in Wales slightly wrong IMO

First of all I'd like to thank Orbx for another great product. I bought Wales during the recent sales at FSS and I'm very exited about this excellent scenery However I have a minor issue with how the seasons are displayed there.

I did a flight departing from Cardiff, date set to 02 March and wondered how green the area was and I also was wondering about the yellow rape fields during that time of the year. I did a forum search and found Paul's explanation of the yellow rape fields in this thread http://www.orbxsyste...age__hl__season

But what's about these lush green leaf trees, which you can see on this screen shot, sim date set to 01 March:

This can't be right, this looks more like May. Where I live, here in Central Europe, there is not a single leave on the trees yet. The trees haven't even blossomed by today, March 19. I cannot Imagine that nature is that much ahead in Wales. Maybe the fellow Welsh simmers can clarify how the landscape currently looks like in their beautiful country.

Perhaps it was possible to set the trigger for the spring textures onto 01 April instead of 01 March. That will still not be perfect then, but much better than it is today IMHO.

Thanks, Wolfgang

I posted a similar comment a few days ago Wolfgang under my Post called 'Well that was weird'. Managed the following screen shot before I reinstalled Wales.

I think this is similar to what you are saying in your Post?

A very definite change between green and grey and I also was flying in March from Cardiff heading north.

Regards,

Roger

Hi Roger,

yes, this definitely is the same issue, but it seems that nobody esle here in forum is bothered by flying through early summer textures in winter and by this rapid change of textures. I think I'm going to post this issue over there in the payware support forum.

Cheers, Wolfgang

Hi,

I think you have read my explanation here http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/55611-seasons-in-ftx-eu-eng/#entry497439 but basically the seasons are done based on real world data averaged from the Met office and following fsx limitations.

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thank you for you reply! As I said, for me this is just a minor issue.

Keep on your excellent work!

Cheers, Wolfgang
