The Ukmil link is this: http://www.ukmil.org.uk/download.php?view.427 That's the DL link to the chinny, though they may make you sign up to DL it, I don't know. grumman
Can one of you guys explain what controller/joystick you use for flying choppers? Seems to me a standard joystick and quadrant isn't adequate. And I'm not sure I even want to know how a Chinook can possibly fly Greg
ananda
Try it with an underslung load BTW. I use an old MS FF2 with force off to fly helicopters. George
awright
I use a Saitek Cyborg Evo to 'fly' one. Still learning as for landing you don't want to look. Alex

Alex I find that the Cyborg Evo FF with the force turned off is too stiff for helicopters, the FF2 is ideal. George
tom
Just a heads up - there is a slightly later "patched" version over at Sim-Outhouse, which fixes some texture issues in the rotor region, and discussion on their forum about it. Ryan Mason
If you want to have any success at it, I recommend the Saitek X52, its the closest you can get to the control aspect of a helo.

Nick
X-52 is the one joystick recommend by the dodosim boys, and from having flown in a real one. @ananda you cheated because you used the autohover function, thats poor form mate Jokes mate
Milamber
X52 for me too, for helis. The Chinook is actually one of the easier helis to fly. Regards, Maurice.
