Mickel
I've spent the last few weeks on a world tour of Australia, before NZNI arrives and I cross the ditch for a lengthy stay. There were some 60 stops along the route, and many snaps taken along the way. Hope you enjoy the first batch: There is a reason the RNZAF calls this the GAFA. These pics were thirty minutes apart, in the same flight... At least the last one had a runway in it... Purnululu National Park: Argyle diamond mine: Somewhere between Mitchell Plateau and Derby, north east of Broome Uluru - known as Ayers Rock when that plane was in service I find something new every time I visit this place Red dawn in the red centre Enroute Broome NT at dawn Approach off the Pilbara coast

Eric C
Awesome set and tour here Mickel, you'll love NZSI also, but of course we know there is no bad area/region from Orbx/FTX
Mickel
Thanks for the comments Gentlemen. I've done a bit of time around NZSI, but I'm holding out for NZNI. Teecee, I've probably still got the full size JPEGs of TBK and YBAS if you want me to send them through. For the rest of the tour: A RAAF Hercules in her natural environment Parked up somewhere in southern WA A salt lake north of Adelaide Final into Olympic Dam. The wifey is off there tomorrow in a Fokker F-50 Passing through Canberra Canberra to Tamworth Enroute to the coast Destination Ballina Bump... Does anyone know if there is a default 737 repaint for the Virgin Australia livery? Delightful Port MacQuarie The VFR route through inland Williamtown airspace What I find great about this scenery is that there are enough landmarks to follow the VFR routes just by holding track and looking out the window. Amazing in such a large chunk of land. Eiaring power station near the central New South Wales coast Warnervale comings and goings The final leg (I've found my favourite sunset setting for AS2012) These take a little more stopping than the new things... Taxiing to the gate at the end of the tour at the place where it began The complete route was: YMML-YBBN-YBUD-YBRK-YBHM-YBCS-YBMA-YCCY-YCNY-YTNK-YHOO-YVRD-YPKU-YARG-YPKU-YTST-YTTI-YTST-Mitchell Plateau-YDBY-YPPD-YBAS-YBRM-YPDN-YPKA-YCAR-YGEL-YPJT-YBLN-YMGT-YBUN-YCUN-YSCR-YPKG-YESP-YABA-YPPH-YPAD YPPF-YKSC-YPLC-YCDU-YOLD-YBHI-YMEN-YMLT-YMHB-YKKI-YMMB-YMAY-YWOL-YSCB-YSTW-YBNA-YHBA-YSCH-YPMQ-YCNK-YWVA-YSBK YSSY-YMML and a stack of different aircraft.
