ba43
We have some new exciting additions coming soon to Return to Misty Moorings and we'd like to share them with you here. RTMM wouldn't be possible without the fantastic Pacific Fjords area provided to us by ORBX. We've been working on freeware scenery for this region for almost two years and we're still finding new and exciting places to visit around every corner. And we are planning on expanding into the Southern Alaska region from ORBX/FTX when that's released. Thank you ORBX team. Xavier Carre' and Jacques Alluchon are almost done with a fantastic looking version of Yes Bay Lodge (78K). You can see more of the detail in this "Addon Scenery" forum post over at Return to Misty Moorings. http://forum.mistymo...hp?topic=1063.0 The lodge will have AI boats, AI aircraft, customized to fit shorelines with rocks and grasses. Custom buildings and other objects. This team has more in store as they are also planning a highly detailed version of Ketchikan Harbor for users of PAKT SP1. For RTMM users, Yes Bay Lodge is perfect and here's one shot showing the front of the lodge and dock area. Yes Bay Lodge Rod Jackson, Dex Thomas and the team have been working on Hollis Sea Plane Base (HYL) and the surroundings. Again there is a forum post to view more shots if you'd like to see them here: http://forum.mistymo...hp?topic=1061.0 This destination has extra's spread out throughout the nearby area like waterfalls, etc. Rod says it best: "This scenery enhancement will provide a fictionally higher level of activity to increase the "fun" factor while still being true to the Hollis, Alaska environment." There will also be a daily AI ferry boat running from Hollis all the way to Ketchikan and back. Both scenery areas should be available soon at Return to Misty Moorings. Hollis Harbor and surroundings Chris Losh has recently given us all a fun way to get up in the air more. Virtual Northern Air Charters has opened and RTMM is proud to be a partner of this exciting new project made to fit within Pacific Fjords and other nearby regions. It helps give us the chance to enjoy the parameters we crave when flying. Low, slow, wet and dirty bush flying. Chris has made it possible to get credit for flying a pair of hunters out onto a mud flat or return a pair of campers from a remote cabin in the Misty/Pacific Fjords. Now you can get credit when landing on a lake and floating up to a cabin somewhere in the Fjords regions. We've even added a FedEx bush plane operation with custom scenery at several destinations: Check it out here: http://vnac.org/vnacmain/index.php/ FedEx office at Klawock Just our way of helping you discover new areas inside the Southern Alaska, Pacific/Misty and Tongass Fjords regions of this spectacular area of the world. Stop on by and see what's new by checking out the NOTAM's link. We always welcome our friends here.
