It turned out to be another gorgeous flight. Leaving Glenorchy behind heading north towards Mount Alfred. At the edge of Lothlorien over Fangorn forest from LOTR. Dart river on my left. Further up Dart river and valley. Even further up Dart valley. Turning at the upper part of Dart valley with Headlong peak to the right in the shot. Behind me Mount Edward. Heading south down the upper part of Rees valley. Mount Earnslaw on my right. Fantastic realtime weather for a flight like this. Not much wind to speak of either. Coming back towards Glenorchy with Mount Alfred by Diamond lake on my right. So long Glenorchy. It's been great. Turning east toward Queenstown with Mount Crichton on my left. Over Wilson Bay with Queenstown dead ahead in the distance. Over Fernhill on a long final to rwy 5 at NZQN. Finals rwy 5 a little high. Hello Queenstown. Nice airport.
