NZQN RNP-Z to R23

I love this NZSI addon, can't wait for the FTX NZQN standalone airport to make it even more stunning. Here are some shots approaching NZQN in the NGX. The terminal procedures file is something I am working on to get the RNP procedures in and out of NZQN. Anyways, here are a few screenshots showing the approach transitioning from the West and then snaking in over the river into R23. 4Ks viz with low overcast clouds, weather is right at minimums for this approach. Would be quite exiting seeing the mountains so close on final!

Enjoy!

Capturing the final approach course to R23, look at the detail of the winding river below.

A couple hundred feet above minimums and we can just start making out the runway, the PAPI showing us a bit high (It is a steep approach, the PAPI is set to 3.21 degrees)

A bit closer in and joining the PAPIs

Again, the view from the left side is stunning, nothing but a big wall of cumulo-granite.

On profile getting ready for the flare. The runway is not the longest, so AB 3 or MAX is good and make sure not to float much.

Wonderful sequence and very instructive for those of us who've flown this approach in the NGX.

It's always a challenge whatever the weather.

That said, I find the 05 approach even more demanding as it requires a high rate of descent on the final legs.

Can you show us how it's done M-Sauce?!
