MrBenevolent Posted November 20, 2011 Share Posted November 20, 2011 Hi all, I have recently bought the (excellent!) Lancair and I have a small issue I hope you can help with. When I use the HD models, the panel and gauge text at the default VC zoom level is really glitchy and hard to read. I see this on all switchgear and guages. The actual cabin, guage and panel textures and graphics are otherwise perfect. If I zoom right in, the text quality does improve and it becomes clearer. If I run the SD model, the problem is less noticeable...but I still feel the text isn't as crisp as it might be and seems out of place with the otherwise sharp rendering of the VC. Perhaps I am being over critical and in fact, this is just the way it is supposed to look, but I would be a bit surprised as it seems slightly "rough" compared to the lavish detail and quality across the rest of the model and what i see doesn't seem to match up to screenshots. doeke Posted November 27, 2011 Share Posted November 27, 2011 glad you mentioned it, for me exactly the same. if i let the cockpit come closer its better but than i have a fight with the left door. further away with the vc gives the problem you discribed. any news from orbx people about this issue? Can you please post some screenshots of what you are getting because the hd instrument textures are among the highest res available today.
