Martin
Wow, he has all the makings of a great flight simulator, and a really nice place to live while he is working on the flight deck... This guy is really into some fine wood work! Cheers Martin

This guy is really into some fine wood work! Cheers Martin This is not a private residence. It is a hotel room so to speak and as the add says "From $400 per night". I think you have to bring your own 'flight attendant'.

kcgb
Here is another one of those in New Zealand on State Highway 1 about an hour drive south of Taupo...I guess we like our DC3's And theres the cookie time one http://www.airliners.net/photo/Cookie-Time-DC3/Douglas-C-47B-Skytrain/0120081/&sid=6c5d568a8f534dd2fe30574b5a4d6f02
Matthew Kane
And theres the cookie time one http://www.airliners...e30574b5a4d6f02 These two are actually the same airplane. The Cookie Time was just advertising and was temporary. They've taken the Cookie Time off now. These pictures below I took in 2006 when they had the Cookie Time on it, I got a chance that time to go up in the flight deck: The flight deck is in not too bad shape I prefer it without the Cookie Time decals (This shot is from 2 weeks ago): Cheers

Matthew Kane
I'd rather see it flying then sitting out their on the highway. Perhaps Peter Jackson takes an interest in restoring DC3's someday.... This one is in not too bad shape so it wouldn't take much if you had the money.
