Ken Hall
Im trying to load sbuilderx, the program says I dont have FSX installed. I'm using vista 64. After searching the forums I found a possible solution, using corflags, but I lack the computer skills to follow the instructions, I need someone who has done it and doesn't mind spelling it out for me heres a link http://www.ptsim.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1360&SearchTerms=vista, If anyone can help, maybe they could talk me through it on Teamspeak, as all that typing of instructions, or I don't mind paying for a phonecall, anywhere in OZ. I'm a desperate man, I really want to start designing scenery but without sbuilderx it's pointless, I have contacted Louis, who I believe is the expert but he says he uses XP and can't help. thanks
John Venema
Holger and Mango have it running on Vista 64, so they'll pop in an offer a fix. I've edited your title so it gets their attention

Holger Sandmann
Hi Ken, attached below is a batch file that will do most the work for you. What you have to do is: 1. in Windows Explorer, navigate to your SBuilderX folder. If you don't know where that is right-click on the SBuilderX desktop shortcut, select Properties, and the "Start in" windows will give you the path to its folder 2. make a backup copy of the existing SBuilderX.exe (I have renamed it to "SBuilderX - org.exe" but that's optional) 3. download corflags from http://www.apexsql.com/zips/CorFlags.zip and unzip it into the SBuilderX folder 4. unzip my attached .bat file into the same folder 5. double-check that you have SBuilderX.exe, corflags.exe, and my .bat file in the same folder (see screenshot) 6. right-click on the .bat file and run as administrator as shown in my screenshot 7. a DOS command window will briefly pop up and close again after which you should be able to start SBuilderX without problems Good luck! For reference the original threads on the matter are http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9971 and http://www.ptsim.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1360&SearchTerms=vista Cheers, Holger run_corflags_to_make_SBuilderX_64-bit_compatible.zip
