Impressive FPS Emmsie! Even I cannot run Portland at max autogen, so you definitely have your rig setup nicely indeed!

Note that generally speaking a photoreal area will perform better than landclass autogen due to there being less autogen objects in the coverage area.

Just wonder what is the spec of your computer and the resolution and size of your monitor?

Thanks greatly for such a superb landscape/city!  I've been to Portland many times, both day an night and this looks amazing.

To top it off the smoothness really surprised me.  In this shot I'm getting 23 fps on my system (see siq).  I have autogen and scenery density sliders all the way right.  Only thing I did to improve the smoothness was turn off the AI aircraft.  I left the road traffic, etc on.  Can't wait to try it out at dusk/night tomorrow sometime.

Congrats on a stellar project.  ;D

Thanks chaps my machine seems to be humming along at the moment i havent fiddled with it for awhile and dont intend to its been running great for a few months now ive never known it to run as good to be honest, I only have W764 Bit Ultimate on my Cdrive a v raptor, and FSX, ORBX and my Aircraft on Ddrive which is another v raptor  and REX Od on Edrive. My spec is  Thermaltake Armor LCS VE2000 case ,Intel Core i7, 930 Asus Rampage Extreme 111 Motherboard,Patriot Viper 6GB DDR3 PC3-12800C9 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel Memory, ,Corsair Hydro H70 High Performance CPU Cooler,,Gamers Extreme 1KW Power Supply,,Gainward GeForce GTX 480  Graphics Card,1xVelociraptor 150GB WD1500 10,000rpm ,1x Velociraptor 300 Gb 10,000 rpm,1x 500GB SATA Drive,Windows7 64bit, overclocked to 4.2 Ghz, i run a 22 inch Samsung Black Rose Monitor at 1680x 1050. i think good house keeping with whats on the machine also helps a lot. I dont run car traffic and my air traffic is set to around 55 per cent apart from that im happy as hell. These shots were takrn using real weather also.

cheers

Thanks for the spec.  Car traffic indeed affects FPS significantly.  BTW, may I know your setting of AffinityMask=?
