larryisenor
The elevation at Revelstoke is strange. You descend into the ground when landing and some of the buildings are in a pit. I think you may be aware of this but could not find the post. Larry
Tim Harris
Hi Larry, I would need a picture to fully diagnose, but Revelstoke looks fine at my end Try a search of your FSX folder for 'CYRV' and tell me if you have a ADE_FTX_NRM_CYRV_elevation_adjustment.bgl file
larryisenor
Tim. Assuming the file should be in Scenery/World/Scenery I do not have it. I do have a UTX airport elevation adjustment file for this airport. Could this be interfering with it. Larry
Tim Harris
Me again, With FTXCentral set to [North America] do you have any ADE_FTX_xxx_xxx_elevation_adjustment.bgl files in FSX/scenery/world/scenery?
Holger Sandmann
Hi guys, we didn't change the airport elevation at Revelstoke (meaning there is no elevation adjustment file for CYRV) so the most likely culprit is indeed some third-party elevation adjustment file. To find out do a Windows search for .bgl files with "CYRV" or "Revelstoke" as part of their names; anything outside of the ORBX folders is "suspect". Cheers, Holger
Tim Harris
Ta Holger, it most likely is the UTX CYRV elevation file then
larryisenor
Thanks Tim and Holger I disabled the UTX elevation adjustment and all is right with the world. Larry
