answered Changing Back up File Location

I am trying to free up some space on my C Drive and I am wondering what the process is for transferring my Orbx Back up files from my C Drive to say my D Drive.

 

I would really appreciate any help/assistance.

Should work by moving (copying) the backups to a new drive, then pointing Orbx Central to the new location. There's no embedded location information in the files that I'm aware of. Easy to test.  Make sure the scenery to test is up to date with Verify files.

 

Once your backups have been moved, and with the new location set up in Orbx Central, delete the scenery and reinstall. The reinstall should be quick with no downloading, or very little. Once you're happy, delete the files from the original location.

Also, after you move the files to the new location, I would go to help/settings and run the sync simulator function from within Orbx Central.
