Iris Tutor T.1

Recommended Posts

Hello,

one can see in my very short video that it does not for everyone.

Could you have another addon that might be affecting it?

This is perhaps worth a try.

1. Delete any rolling cache.

2. Delete the Content.xml file.

(AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Content.xml)

3. Delete the simulator .dat files

(AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SceneryIndexes\*.dat)

4. Do not add anything other than the problem product(s) to the Community folder

before running MSFS again.

Hello,

either:

Windows 10 by default hides the “AppData” folder, so you will have to go to “View” in the menu of File Explorer, and select “Hidden items” to see it.

or: do you have the Steam version of MSFS?

In that case, the files are at

C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\

I have just reinstalled Windows 10 and then MSFS, Orbx Central and then the Tutor T1 but I see neither of the files that you pointed too, and I still have no avionics. The files that you mentioned are still nowhere to be found.

The aircraft flies well, in fact it is rather fun even without the avionics but without them is a big disappointment.

I hope this will be overcome in the future.

Kind regards

Richard

Yes, I am.

Also the Landing light switch does the same as the avionics switch, flicks up and then down straight away.

The Instrument lights do not work and from the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke the Master Alt and Batt switches work OK but the Avionics Bus 1 or 2 do not.

Kind regards

Richard

Hello,

yes that's it.

Also, rename your Community folder to CommunityX and then create a new one.

Move only the Grob into it and then see if it works as it should.

When you have finished your test, move the Grob back into the CommunityX folder,

Delete the now empty Community folder and rename CommunityX to Community.

These are just basic tests to rule out other products causing problems, as they sometimes do.

I have found what is wrong.:)

On the Honeycomb Alpha Quadrant there are 7 switches I never use.

On close inspection I found that Switch #46-47 is the Avionics switch and it was in the OFF position. Switching it On of course ...... Abracadabra the jolly avionics all light up. Also of course the landing light [switch #36-37] can be turned on.

So all is now well and I thank you for helping me. I really love this little airplane.

Kind regards

Richard
