JoseCFII Posted March 22, 2021 Share Posted March 22, 2021 Hi Tony, I decided to do some flights in XP 11.41 because my MSFS is currently INOP after World Update #3. The FPS issue has forced me to use my old sims. I can't figure out why TE FL will not load at certain airports with "Orbx_B_US_Florida_TE_Overlay" active. There's something in the folder that is causing X-Plane 11.41 not to load in certain airports such as KBKV. Can you help me out. My scenery_packs file is far more extensive than the one you are showing and is only 44KB I also need your XP log file as Tony suggested please, attached and not a photo copy. Clarify that please because I notice there are places in TE Florida that take an exceptionally long time to load. and that is with a SSD including around the Tampa area. Are you getting CTD with the Custom folder enabled or just what appears to be a very long time of "Reading new scenery files" in comparison to normal loading times? Hi Jon, I've decided not to bother trying to rectify this issue. XP11 does take a long time to load with TE FL, so I'll just stick with default until the next MSFS update. I thank you for your time. I just did a clean install of X-Plane 11.53 and enabled Vulkan and I still can NOT load TE FL (KBKV) with FL Overlays enabled. Without the FL Overlays folder KBKV loads fine. I'm seeing the default objects popping through. I'm using a custom KBKV airport. It's a freeware add-on by NAPS. Can Tony please exclude KBKV from the +28-083.dsf in the+20-090 folder and send it to me via PM. PLEASE. Or I will have to use my FL Overlays version.
