TE SoCal wont download, "Queued". 5fe1170629459

Hi.

TE SoCal SD; Transaction number 5fe1170629459; download 20 MB/s.  I7, 4Ghz, 7800 series, 12G Ram.


 E:\temp is only folder in a new 256GB SSD.  No data installed in it.

 

 I have performed all the steps you mentioned.  It still does not download the product; it remains "Queued".  However, it did produce this sub-directory: 
 ( C:\Users\dogg2\AppData\Roaming\Orbx\Central ), about 48.2MB of new something, amongst several newly created folders within this "Central" directory.   
  Four hours later, not a single byte of product downloaded to my computer. The C Drive has over 130GB free space.

 

  I recall a previous transaction using "FTXCentral".  I paid for the product, downloaded the product ( about 40GB ), and used the product. Same operating system and data transfer speed as today.   I recall I used what was referred to as the "Manual" method. Just download, install, and use. Easy Peasy.

 

 I noticed OrbxCentral tries to offer other services, not forced to use with FTXCentral, services I don't want.  It's likely that the new services are preventing the download.

 

  I'll leave my system on all night, about 12 hrs, and see if I was supposed to wait in the 'Q', or what.

 

  Of course I'll have to quit trying eventually, in about 1 week, cut my losses, close my "Account" and demand my money back.

 Perhaps, you can offer an alternative method to load files outside the OrbxCentral process, of which apparently is causing significant frustration among your loyal customers.

Sorry about your continued problem. I am going to have to defer you to the Orbx Central support team as they are the experts in Orbx Central issues.

Just before I pass this over, can you confirm that you have all the prerequisites for Orbx Central to work:

Hi. 

 

Looks like I fixed it.  Inexplicably, the Orbx Central router apparatus would not handshake and synchronize with my 4g router and displayed an endless "Queued" status.

 

  Fortunately, I accidently connected to Orbx via my 3g router; and I unexpectedly noticed "Installing" was under way.  After verifying  I paused download and re-enabled the 4g router; and upon resuming, the Orbx Central process soon recognised the 4g and continued the process from where the 3g was paused.   

 

  It seems my process for downloading and installing Orbx products will have to involve the steps above.

 

  I flight tested my So Calif SD package over the Los Angeles area, and it is very nice.  I also decided to purchase the Northern Califoria SD package as, and its working very well,

 

  So, you can switch this topic status to "resolved".  Cheers.
