mquaedflieg Posted October 5, 2020 Share Posted October 5, 2020 Today, I flew for the first time into KBCE (from out KTEX), close to the airport the frame rates drop to app. 7 fps. Normally my PC runs MSFS2020 around 45 to 50 FPS. I am not pretending this is due the Orbx scenery. Hence my question is: Are there other people having these issues? Jon Clarke Posted October 6, 2020 Share Posted October 6, 2020 KBCE is using PBR 4K textures and UHD modelling, so although only a small airport it will be more demanding on resources. I don't know what your PC specs re in regard to CPU/GPU but you could try your normal settings category like Ultra/High End/Medium?Low End but then customise it slightly by lowering the Render Scale setting. For what it's worth: I've been in and out of this Orbx scenery quite a few times and haven't noticed any performance degradation on my end whatsoever.
