msfs Around London, pt 2

So, after my CTD at the end of part 1 I restarted from EGLC in a standard livery version of the Pitts and went back to resume the tour.

 

approaching Docklands from the Eat this time

 

 

Yawn!

 

This is where the sim crashed last time. Shame, I couldn't get quite the same angle and shot I was trying for this time round - the light had changed just a bit

 

 

I see Orbx no longer advertises in Piccadilly Circus!

Now this was interesting. A decent RAH and Albert Memorial at last

 

Thought I'd break out the drone cam for a closer look

 

 

 

In the previous shot and this next one, the plane hasn't moved, just the camera

 

 

 

Long time since I lived or worked in London. Lots of stuff I don't recognise. No idea what that modern building is

 

But I recognise Chelsea Bridge ok (or is it Battersea Bridge? I think the latter is plainer?)

 

And Battersea Power Station (wot, no pig?)

 

 

Ah yes, the funny farm

 

 

 

And then it crashed again! Obviously need to do some investigation into this.

 

(and @Iain Emms, I've sort of lost track on which landmarks are Orbx and which are built in, so I hope I haven't transgressed too much in this post)

Truly amazing shots. I think this msfs 2020 along with Orbx is a keeper once the few bugs get ironed out.
