KillaBee
Operating system: Win 10 Simulator: MSFS Screenshot: Issue: the issue is that Orbx central falsely Identifies my custom Folder as being an MFSF folder which is not and refuses to continue with the configuration wizard. my MSFS folder is "MSFS", the custom folder where i am trying to install and configure the addon is "MSFS Addons" , the folder is in parallel to the Sim folder on the same HDD/drive and is not nested inside it. please fix the issue
Nick Cooper
Hello, I had a similar problem and have reported it to the developers. I named my Library "Microsoft Flight Simulator Orbx Scenery Library" and Orbx Central gave the same error message as you see. I renamed it to MSFS Orbx Library, remarkably similar to your choice of name and it was accepted. You can see that I have kept the name in Orbx Central. Perhaps you could try that. So far, I have had no reply to my question but at least it has been asked.

So far, I have had no reply to my question but at least it has been asked. what was your Sim folder name? i suspect the error comes because both the SIM and the custom folder share the same name prefix or contain the same names in one or the other. like in my case "MSFS" is common name for both my custom folder and the Sim folder. Nick, can i ask you for a favor and re-bump it again with the DEVs telling them another customer complains about this issue? I really don't want to change my folder name as I already have other addons in that parent folder and i don't want to rename the parent folder and reinstall all my other addons that are aware of the current parent folder name. and also i don't want to create a separated dedicated parent folder for the Orbx just because of this issue as I am trying to consolidate my addons into one parent folder (dividing it into separated sub folders in side parent folder) and not have multi folders. I am currently holding off my central install until this is resolved. because i wish to remain with my naming convention and folder structure i chose. Nick Cooper
Hello, you can see what it accepted in my screen shot. You may well be correct, in fact I would guess that you are, as my experience reflects yours exactly. Your topic is already in the Orbx Central support forum, so I will just ping them for you. @Josh Koz @Mitchell Williamson @Ben McClintock
