resolved How do I get FS2020 to show in Obx Central

I have installed FS2020 and run it. I now would like to purchase some of the new addons for it. When I load Orbx Central I do not see the new simulator. Any idea how I can get it to show?

Hi Jon thanks for getting back to me. I can now see FS2020 but I did need to restart my computer before it showed. Anyway my problem is now resolved.

What if it doesn't show up in the dropdown? Is there a way to make Orbx central scan for FS2020?

it scans in any case, each time it starts.

Hmm weird I figured it would detect FS2020 from windows registry. I had to start FS2020 then tab out and start Orbx Central then it detected FS2020.

I don't think that there is anything in the registry until the simulator has been run once.

That is how it has been since Fs9 and I doubt that aspect has changed.

I have the similar problem. I use on my pc two accounts. one as admin and one as standard user. MSFS was installed on the standard user. But Orbx Central need admistrator rigths.

Then i started this with the rights i don't find a option for MSFS. Then i give my standard user the right and started Orbx central than i have the opinion to install the scenery. But in the name of security this is not good. As Workaround i switch between standard and admin rights for this one user.
