TE Great Britain South - London

Hello,

Bought and successfully installed TrueEarth Great Britain South. I am new to sim and I like my Cessna which can fly close.

I am a bit disappointed with London City. Maybe something is wrong with my set up or this is the actual product I paid. Please help.

I am thinking of buying the London City Airport but if there is no improvement, it will be a waste.

I am very happy on the country side especially the wind farms.

1. The city is almost in the water, along the river banks. See the battleship, awful, with water along the banks.

2. Missing bridge section. Verified installation, tried transparent and default roads, both missing bridge section.

My settings is shown which I think pretty decent.

World Objects - high

Visual Effects - high

FPS - around 45 to 55

GTX 1660 Ti 6GB with 8-cores Ryzen 7 on 1TB SSD.

Thanks for your reply.

Thank you for your prompt reply Jon.

Ok, I set to maximum in the slider. I am still at 38 FPS at max.

I put everything on top in scenery ini. See photos.

Same results. Missing bridge section.

The water level by the battleship is fine when I looked closely. I think that's the way it is.

Thanks.

Re-layered it correctly for you. Unsure if it helps with the issues you are mentioning but thee would have been a lot more issues without the correct layering and the fact that you did not have London Landmarks placed above TEGB South.

@Tony Wroblewski for comment on the bridge and other comments by the user please.

Gents,

Please assist to confirm if there is no missing bridge section in your version of TE Great Britain South as shown.

If this is the situation for all, I will just close this inquiry.

If not, then I will try to figure out or do complete reinstall if this is only happening on my sim.

Big thanks.

Thank you very much DR Monir.

At least I know there is nothing wrong with my installation or set up.

I hope Orbx will fix the bridge.

You are welcome IronDad.

There is few more problems with London which I hope could be fixed by Orbx.

1. Nelson column elevation problem, floating few feet's above ground level.

2. Chelsea bridge lacking the suspension towers.

Cheers

@Tony Wroblewski for comment please.

thanks Jon.

I hope Tony is OK. Not in a lockdown I hope.

the London bridges could do with elevation corrections, shapes and traffic.

the free ware VFR London has certainly good scenery of London and its bridges, the only fault I could detect is a duplicated Saint Paul cathedral.

best wishes.

Monir
