I am flying again and had to uninstall all TEGB files, South, Central and North plus Orbx libraries. I have carried out the placing of Orbx files in Orbx Central. My TEGB was working perfectly till recently and now nothing? The cost alone is not cheap and I also have Netherlands TE which is unusable as it messes up Amsterdam airport. What is the solution and should there be a warning that these products may not work. I have checked with friends better than me with technology and a local business that builds computers and they say it should all work. Ian St Posted May 7, 2020 Share Posted May 7, 2020 Suggest you post in the appropriate support forum for whichever sim you are using. LaurieLourensz Posted May 7, 2020 Author Share Posted May 7, 2020 Thanks I will try and get these and post, I did a couple of weeks ago when Orbx administrators came back to me, one said I should improve my PC spec but when I spoke to a couple of simmers who are into the computing side and a business that builds game computers they said my specs were good. LaurieLourensz Posted May 7, 2020 Author Share Posted May 7, 2020 Three HP 27 inch monitors for the sim, one 14 inch monitor for EFB which comes from intel. I am in the cruise, captains view with frame rates of 23 to 29.1 out of 30. I also with a number of others clear my cashed memory every five minutes, that helped with frame rate. LaurieLourensz Posted May 7, 2020 Author Share Posted May 7, 2020 I can appreciate that, my GPU is only using a max of some 60%, what puzzles me is that TEGB was working fine until a couple of weeks ago. LaurieLourensz Posted May 8, 2020 Author Share Posted May 8, 2020 Hi Nick, I did a few things with regards my computer, I upped the speed for my ram through the BIOS, I also saw a great video from a guy on YouTube who explained how to increase the Graphics Card speed and efficiency using software called Afterburner and Conbuster. I had already increased my CPU clock speed. I reinstalled TEGB, North, Central and South. Crossed everything hoping it would all work. Flight from EDDF to EGSS. Upon leaving Franfurt all was good with good FPS and GPU usage. Flight across the channel all good and I could see the U.K., green and not the sand colour I had last week. Everything good but clearly TEGB uses alot of graphics and they were down to 10-12 at times. Landed all OK and glad it seems to be working. I can live with the graphics FPS as this does not cause any issues. I am on a Facebook group for P3D V4 and must admit others are having the issues I had so wonder if TEGB is over engineered for most people? I have attachd links to a number of pictures and maybe you can see if they are OK and acceptable. Many thanks as always for your help. I did the following as per your instruction: First run Verify files for Global Base and for all your open LC products and the Orbx Libraries to rule out the possibility of missing files. If this does not work: 1a. If your Orbx Libraries are installed into the P3D folder Please try renaming Scenery\BASE\Scenery\lclookup.bgl to lclookup.bgl .off Run Verify files for the Orbx Libraries which will replace the lclookup.bgl file. https://gyazo.com/78bc03c31aef7d03d166b28402cf1498 https://gyazo.com/05a3c1c32bc5cdfe76831b904d6c82aa I hope to fly back to the UK tomorrow so hope all goof there.
