Palouse Flyer
Having a problem with my libraries. When I try to edit them, I get a message that says "An error occurred while trying to synchronise your simulator. Can't install any products, I'm assuming because of this error. Palouse Flyer
Well, got it figured out--my anti-virus was the culprit. Turns out you really do have to turn that off sometimes. Thanks for your help anyway!
Nick Cooper
Hello, for what it's worth and this is my personal opinion, not Orbx policy, most viruses and malware are invited onto a PC by its user by opening attachments or clicking on links in e mails or at dubious websites. Anti virus software, for the customer level user, is therefore mainly to protect the user from themselves, rather than to stand guard at the gates to the internet waiting to stop all unwelcome guests. Windows Defender is very good at doing this and is much less intrusive than most added anti virus software. A good idea is to create exclusions for .exe files and folders that you can trust, Orbx Central being one good candidate and all your flight simulation related files and folder being another.
