Doug Sawatzky
Hi With the new Orbx Central app I don't bother with manual download installs anymore, I have found the one click install method works much better. Maybe worth a try.

Doug Sawatzky
Hey Bob You can go to your Users\name\AppData\Roaming\Orbx\Central folder and delete the “Cache” folder and retry.
rlaycock
I have uninstalled central and re installed it but no change It still wants to start from 26% Can it be total re set?
Doug Sawatzky
Uninstalling central does not delete the folder I have mentioned above. Please zero in on it and delete it.
rlaycock
Hi Doug I did that but it still says 26% and is running very slow I also note it is using a whole bunch of my c drive even though I told central to use another drive as the temp folder. (I have a very small c drive) what do I need to do to reset central ? Thanks Bob
Doug Sawatzky
Are you sure it is being shut down and not running in the system tray? Maybe open task manager and ensure it is shut down, then clear the cache folder.
rlaycock
I cant see it in task manager
Doug Sawatzky
Exit Orbx Central completely Press Alt - F4 (Windows/Linux) or Cmd - Q (macOS) Make sure the Central icon isn't in your system tray. If it is, right-click on it and press 'Quit'.
rlaycock
I think I may have fixed it? There is a ORBX temp folder inside another temp folder C Drive taking up around 50 gig of c drive. I deleted the content and central no longer says Oregon at 26% I will give it another go
Nick Cooper
Hello, if that folder is there, it means that you have not in fact successfully moved the installation process off your C drive, please review your actions before you try again, or you will find yourself in the same place. Make sure that the temporary location is set to somewhere off your C drive and also that you have not set Orbx Central to create a backup.
rlaycock
Hi all Nick I think that is what happened. Perhaps a update to Central re set the temp folder? Any way with Help from Doug (Thank you ) I got my space back on C/: and installed Oregon Just a question will ORBX Central permit a install of a old C4 file? I ask this because I was trying to install from a downloaded version Oregon 1.0 C4 file I would rather do this due to limited internet data and speed. Then if needed update as required. Best wishes Bob
