Nick Cooper
Hello, the developers'advice so far is to restart Orbx Central. Depending upon what has stalled the installation, this may well result in the product then showing as installed.

ve2dgz
The quick fix for the stuck downloads is to restart Orbx Central. It works all the time. I have (and still am) in the process of rebuilding a new computer and the stuck downloads at 98% have been a pain. So I have throughly tested this fix particularly when I have most of Orbx products across the world. FTX Central is much quicker but can create out of sync products between "Central". I am still questioning the use of one of the Central full time. Plus or Minuses on either side. Cheers, Pierre
Guest Josh Koz
Hi Pierre, We have some changes to the download system in the works to address this issue. Look forward to this in a future update.

ve2dgz
In the meantime, I will refrain from buying any new Orbx products. Cheers, Pierre

Guest Josh Koz
Hi @ve2dgz Thanks for the follow up. The difficulty in reproducing this issue has resulted in us guessing the potential cause. Are you able to recreate this issue every time you download a product without fail? Are there a specific set of actions taken that then result in a stuck download? ve2dgz
Yes, I am able to recreate this issue every time I download a product. Specific set of actions are: 1. startup Central v4027; 2. select one of my product; 3. startup Install download; 4. and wait until it stops (mostly towards the end 70 to 90%) : most of the time I will not do any other activity on the PC or on the web but since that did not seem to do anything interfering with the download; 5. then will restart Central to resume downloading. note: presently reloading my products to P3dv4.13, doing it slowly to test the scenery and I have plenty more to do. ve2dgz
Status update: with 4.0.36 there are no more stuck download problems. Did a number of re-installs today without problems. (notices there is some kind of watchdog now checking comm. status and restarting download) Congrats to the team, Cheers, Pierre
