Steeve2902
Hi I'm getting what appears to be two sets of imagery at different elevations here. This is after a fresh re install without AEC having been run. When I've run it before after running it, the vegetation areas are all depressions - no happy medium! I have also used the configure option in Orbs Central for this airport to match Global Vector. Grateful for any suggestions.. Steeve2902
Thought I ought to add this to show what happens after running AEC - its a challenge to reach the runway..
Doug Sawatzky
Hi Steve Please post a copy of your “scenery.cfg” file and the “add-ons.cfg” file found at C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4.
Steeve2902
There you go. BW Steve scenery.cfg add-ons.cfg
Doug Sawatzky
Thanks Please reactivate the unchecked/deactivated default entries in your scenery library and also uncheck/deactivate the "Traffic Global Airport Facilities" entry and test. Steeve2902
OK - everything on bar the TGAF entry - looks exactly the same I'm afraid BW Steve
Doug Sawatzky
Ok, maybe try the settings/help/sync simulator function in Orbx Central. Maybe also do a "Verify Files" of LDPL.
Steeve2902
Nope. Taxiway and planes and vehicles one level, buildings and tress etc all down in the pits I may have to uninstall this if there's no fix apparent. Disappointing after a similar experience recently with London City. Does the Vector option in ORBX Central now supercede AEC in Vector Config? That is should I still be running AEC? Doug Sawatzky
The Vector config is used the same in Orbx Central as before, and yes LDPL should be in the disabled list after the AEC tool is run.
Nick Cooper
Hello, how did you install this? Did you install to the P3D v4 folder or to an Orbx Central Library? In either case make sure that you have scenery\world\sceneryORBX_LDPL_APX_ALT.bgl
Steeve2902
I downloaded it and installed in FTX Central some months ago. Have since moved over to the new platform and so reinstalled via ORBX Central after my recent difficulties. Yes - that file is there.
Steeve2902
All appears well after complete reinstall of P3Dv4.5 and Orbx sceneries. See EGLC and Keflavik troubles too. Must have had some corruption in there somewhere - wonder if Traffic Global had anything to do with this.
Bartek Kantorski
Any way to fix it without P3D reinstall?
PhugoidEffect
Hello Orbx support, Also having this difficulty. LDPL is not a scenery that I considered great, so it's been a long time since I haven't flown there. Yesterday I tried an approach and the pavements were all sunk. I then deleted the scenery and reinstalled from scratch (using Orbx tool, installed into simulator directory "old style"). Surprisingly today I made another approach to see that the problem was still there.
