bilbao131
After a harrowing flight from MKJS; Sangster Intl to MWCL; Bodden Field, guiding my little Cessna 172 around thunderstorms, I was finally on approach; runway 10. My altitude was good, airspeed good, glideslope spot-on, then suddenly approximately 100 feet from touch down the runway just disappeared! I still landed safely, but it ended up being a "grass" landing other than an "asphalt" landing. Prior to ORBX accessories installed, this never happened. I have the following ORBX products installed: 1. Global Base Pack 2. Global Buildings HD 3. Global Open LC North America 4. Global Trees 5. Global Vector (purchased, but not installed at the moment. When installed, several runways "sink" into the ground, plus I experience a lot of raised earth anomalies. I've tried many "how tos" from forums and from ORBX support to no avail). Jack the Swede in Spain
I have ALL products from ORBX installed. Two photos from MWCL, on the ground and about 30 ft up. Nothing wrong here. Why do you say it is an ORBX problem? Jack the Swede in Spain

If you have Vector installed, it's advisable to run its AEC tool. If you don't, that's why you see the anomalies you mention.
bilbao131
Hey JJ, I'm suspicious of a setting or conflict with ORBX due to this problem did not happen prior to any ORBX product being installed.
bilbao131
Hi Stewart, Thanks for the advice. I ran the AEC tool several times but still have airports sinking and unexpected ground rise. Do ORBX products need to be installed in a certain order? If so, that may be adding to my problem.
Doug Sawatzky
Hi Maybe try the process below (it is for FTX Central 3 only), and also ensure your mesh resolution is set at 5m. Ensure the Orbx Libs are installed and up to date. (is there a blue notification above the settings button in FTXC3?) Ensure all of your 3rd party non Orbx addons are at the top of your scenery library and above your FTX entries. Then in FTX Central 3 Insertion points, move "FTX entries should be inserted below" just below your last 3rd party addon. Then move the "openLC entries should be inserted below" just below your FTX entries. and click "Save". Then run the "Force Migration" option in FTXC3 settings. Then, if you have Vector installed, there is a Vector control panel access button at the bottom of the FTXC3 settings page. When you open it you can select the amount of road coverage etc, be sure to uncheck the "Frozen Surface (in winter only)"option, and check the Australia Add-Ons under the “Settings” tab, then go to the Airport Elevation Correction (AEC tool) tab and run the auto configuration process and be sure to click on "Appy" when it is done scanning.
