Antonio Santa Clara Gomes
Operating system: Windows 10 Simulator: P3DV4.4 Screenshot: Issue: After migrating, keep having a "path not found" error when loading the first flight after starting the sim as per the screenshot attached. Although the error message seems to mention EGHI, this has happened even without the airport installed. Upon loading EGHI, nothing seems wrong with the scenery. can you please help? central.log
JohnVulcan
Like you I found that the symbolic links were not created for migrated scenery. You could try the 'Sync Simulator' facility in the ORBX Central 4. Go into 'Settings' then select 'Help' and you will see the 'Sync Simulator' button. This worked for me, but for what ever reason it is not even mentioned in the Central Manual.

The path shown in my screenshot is actually that of my original ORBX library within the P3D root folder. Installing ORBX Central, I migrated everything to an external folder (within the same SSD) but it seems something still points to the original folder. I copied the EGHI xml files from my present library to the path indicated in the pop-up and the warning was gone next time I loaded the sim. Most of the folders in the original library are empty, but if I remove them, then I get error messages of missing areas starting the sim. Curious though, everything seems to be working fine within P3D when flying, but it's as if the migration was faulty and there are some "leftovers" from the original installation. Not sure if I leave it like this for now, or just uninstall, manually delete both libraries (old and new) and just try installing everything from scratch... Ben McClintock
Hi Antonio, I know you mentioned you have already done it, but can you please go to Settings -> Help and press "Sync Simulator" again? If that still does not resolve your issue, can you please attach E:\Jogos\Prepar3d V4\ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAA_ORBXLIBS\Scenery\OF_Config.xml AND your central.log again? I reinstalled FTX Central 3 and have noticed that if I uncheck "Use Object Flow 2 in Prepar3D v4" box solves the problem. It seems like having two ObjectFlow installed in P3d, even if I remove Central v3. 1 - In the C:\Users\...\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons 2 - In the new Orbx Library that I have created I don't know if its correct, but I removed the first one from C:\Users\...\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons folder and P3d is running fine now. Antonio Santa Clara Gomes
Hi guys Just to say I have the situation fixed with a more basic approach. I was a bit uncomfortable with having to "fix" the migration with risk of further issues, so I did the following: 1. Uninstalled all ORBX products (with this method) 2. Uninstalled ORBX Central 3. Reinstalled ORBX Central 4. Reinstalled addons in following order: BASE, VECTOR, ObjectFlow, Airports ObjectFlow is in an external library as required, all the rest is in the ORBX library in the P3D root folder. So far no issues Normally I would be unhappy at reinstalling several different addons, but given that I can just queue everything on Central and do something else in the meantime, it's really not a nuisance. For the time being, and if no other issues pop up, I will keep Central instead of reverting to FTX 3.
Pilot37
I'm having the same problem. So for example O60 Cloverdale loads with the error and there are people sitting at invisible tables. I tried the Settings / Help / Sync and still the same "Path not Found" error. (All locations are Migrated)
Nick Cooper
Hello Pilot37, you seem to have posted into a topic with two resolved problems. If you problem really is the same, then one or both of the solutions will fix yours. this is a more detailed topic about duplicate objectflow entries. Pilot37
Hi Nick, I already checked out the double instances and there is no file to remove in my Prepar3D v4 Add-ons. I only returned to P3D after a long break and just updated as prompted to the new Orbx Central and now a glitch. I have a huge Orbx collection and all the locations I tried do the same error. No way is a full uninstall an acceptable route.
Nick Cooper
Hello, one of the messages results from the old objectflow being used which looks for files that are no longer there. The other one does not. Can you post the exact message please?

Pilot37
A bit frustrating to return to the hobby after a time out, be prompted to convert to a system that breaks my installation. It takes an age to optimise everything and then snap. I have over 80 Orbx products I can't use. I am guessing that a complete removal of all Orbx stuff and then reinstall? Mitchell Williamson
Hello, I'm glad that issue is resolved. Sync Simulator rebuilds the configuration file ObjectFlow uses and tries to remove any outdated entries.
hralphbuk
I have same problem but can say sync simulator does not work for me. I have tried it many times. On start up of flight I get this message Path not found P3D\Orbx\FTX_AU\FTXAU2_05_scenery\scenery\*_objectflow.x So I go to this folder & cannot find this file. However the objectflow folder is now located in the Library folder so that is why I believe it cannot be found. This happened after Orbx central updated my paid for items. Please advise how to get rid of this annoying pop up . Thanks Howard
Nick Cooper
Hello Howard, I can think of no reason why the fix that works for everyone else should not work for you. Please go to your P3D root folder, where you will find Orbx\FTX_AU\FTXAA_ORBXLIBS\Scenery\OF_Config.xml. It is the only file in that folder and you should delete it. Do not look anywhere else, or delete any other files. Then run Orbx Central\Settings\Help\Sync Simulator and that file will be reinstated without the rogue line that causes the error message.
