It was a flight in P3D from Denver to Las Vegas, skirting the mountains in between by heading South of Denver then South West, then West. It would have been shot in Western New Mexico, which is pretty barren. I'm a bit nonplussed by your observation. As it is a dusk shot, the land, which is in either the Orbx Central Rockies, or at least Open LC North America, is not defined by sunlight.
