Kim Sibbritt
Hi all, I've been looking forward to these since I first heard about them 3 years ago. One thing that really annoyed me with the default ones was the imbalance of the scale of the houses. You would often get an obviously overly large house stuck in with all the others. From what I've read so far on the new release there has been no mention if the scale problem has been rectified. Anyone know if its been fixed ? Cheers...Kim
Scott Harmes
Hi Kim, The models themselves are not altered, only the textures applied to the models. Cheers,
Scott Armstrong
Hi Kim, Mr. Harmes is mostly right, although we were able to fix some scaling issues by altering the textures themselves to make everything a bit more even. But due to the nature of the autogen display engine, P3D and FSX sometimes automatically scale the buildings slightly too large or small, or too stretched or squished, and that's just the way it goes. But we WERE able to modify some models; in fact, Bill Womack and his team modified over 400 of the "library objects" that you see sporadically throughout the landscape, such as water towers, some highrise buildings, gas stations, shopping centers, churches, restaurants, etc. So scaling issues with those have largely been solved
