W2DR
Sometime in October 1956 I fell in love for the first time. I was a freshman in high school. I decided to cut classes one afternoon and went downtown to watch a movie. The movie was Love Me Or Leave Me with Doris Day. And I fell in love with her. I cut classes for the next two days to watch that movie again and again. I was 13 and she was 34. But I never thought about that then. I learned today that she passed away not 10 miles from where I used to live. I'll always remember those days and I'll always remember Doris and her dogs and what she did to promote animal rights. As Bob Hope used to say.........thanks for the memories..................
