is fsx getting phased out?

Hi,

I was reading on the 2019 roadmap that plans are to phase out things in favour of P3d, and I'm concerned - P3d strictly states that only professionals in the aviation industry such as pilots, or those training to become a real pilot, are allowed to use the software, and it can't be used for personal home entertainment, while FSX allows anyone to use the simulator. So, I can't use P3d, but I can use FSX. If OrbX phases out FSX, all this amazing scenery that makes the experience worthwhile will no longer be coming out for people like me... I'm ineligible to fly in real life due to permanent health issues, so using FSX is the only way I can get in the air :(

Will the current sceneries that work on FSX still remain available?

Hi

Anybody can use P3D. There are thousands of people using it, I'm one of them and I'm not a pilot or future one.

FSX is getting behind as new technology improves daily

P3D has been improved to suit this new technologies so the change would be good for you

I doubt FSX will be improved.

Cheers

Carlos

Hello,

there is no place here for a debate over which P3D licence to acquire.

Each customer must use their own judgement and each customer does.

There are products in beta testing that are FSX compatible and that debate

has already taken place as well.
