Captain Lars
Hi, the PAPI lights on rwy 15 never show red, no matter how low you are flying. According to the charts as of Nov 8 2018, these should be normal 3.0° PAPIs. Thank you for considering this, Lars Wüst
petfy
This is T-VASIS, an old Australian glideslope indicator https://www.dst.defence.gov.au/innovation/tee-visual-approach-slope-indicator-system-t-vasis . It has been superseded by PAPI (gradually) for Australian airports. It only shows red when you are about to impact the ground. White lights under the datum line is the thing to look for (instead of red in PAPI).

Are there plans to update this to an actual PAPI, since in the charts it says "PAPI"?
Scott Harmes
Hi Lars, As with all ORBX airports, in general they are simulations of the airport at the time of development. Generally a scenery won't be updated to reflect real world changes, although if a service pack or general update is being done anyway, then a developer may choose to add such real world changes then. Cheers,
