When you say AS4 do ou mean ASP$, the Active Sky for P3d v4?  That is what I use and haven't had any CTDs or other problems with KSAN v2.

Hi Doc, yes, AS4 = Active Sky 4 from HiFi.

I just re-tried the same thing and it works.

But it's intermittent, the first time I try to go there it CTD's, the second time it's ok.

And I have an extremely powerful new PC too, so this baffles me.

Hi,

I suggest to full unistal ksan and re-install it. This should resolve all issue.

Cheers

Thanks Matteo, I just turned off the PC, have to go out, will try this later today.

Did you see anything in the log files that would indicate any problems?

Sincerely no, i'm not able to determine the cause of the crash unfortunately. But i think with a new fresh install you could resolve the issue. Also clean your temp and ram with some programs like cc cleaner or similar before re-install ksan. If you will have again the issue i dont think it's a problem of the scenery. Also make sure to don't have any other ksan scenery or ksan afcad active in your pc.

Hope this help.

Cheers :)

Thanks again Matteo.  I don’t even know what an afcad is, never had anything but Orbx KSAN and I run CC Cleaner frequently.

This is the only area in the sim that does this.

Will do this later and get back to you.  Thanks again.

Hi Matteo!

All is well so far.

I uninstalled KSAN as you suggested.  Then ran CC Cleaner, found no problems.  Installed it and verified the files, again all ok.

Then tested it and it looked even better and the frames are amazing.  I ram ActiveSky 4, the PMDG 747, and set it to KSAN.  It loaded and I had 30-60 FPS.  Very happy.  Thanks for your help and you did a wonderful job here!
