carlosqr Posted August 14, 2018 Share Posted August 14, 2018 Greetings to all I was flying yesterday in Croatia, Drubrovnik, and I found several anomalies: 01.- The terrain pops up and then falls down, like if it tries to accomodate 02.- The houses near the airstrip are floating 03.- Some cliff textures look ugly 04.- When you change views the airstrip is black, then it recovers the color in segments ramdomly 05.- Sometimes the houses fall down to earth but most of the time they float, in the pictures it is hard to notice 06.- The sim frezes very often for up to 5 seconds. I have my Global Mesh to 5, then set it to 1 but no effect by playing with the resolution Any clue of what could be happening? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I confirm that after doing this procedure you provided the houses are not floating (but looks more to me that they were removed ja) Even though the terrain pops up and down more now and the issue with the airstriip remains. As you can see in this pictures at distance and close. And if you fly far then turns black. Here looks perfect If you get close, it gets blury and like a bad image quality Thank you for your help in this, maybe someday a developer may read this and would mind checking the issue. I've never seen the black ground problem before, if you face the airport from a distance does it fix itself after some time, or does it stay black until you approach the airport? The airstrip turns black in several ways: 01.- It could be all of it 02.- Half of it is ok and the other half is wrong 03.- Sometimes it look all ok others wrong and it starts to recover in squares I think the best way to evaluate all the issues is by providing a short video so you can see the behaviour I'm at work at this time so I'll do it later and will show you. Misha Cajic Posted August 22, 2018 Share Posted August 22, 2018 Hi Carlos, Thanks for that. I've never seen that behaviour before in any place in the sim so it'll be difficult to pin down. It might have something to do with your FS settings or a conflicting scenery, make sure you have no other sceneries that might be in the LDDU area.
