iflygary
I just updated my P3Dv4 to 4.3 and the textures at Skagit are really blurry. I installed the latest Libs as well. Is this correct??
iflygary
Help!! I've got some serious issues going on here. These blurry textures are at Harvey as well. Squamish also won't properly install.
Nick Cooper
Hello, you seem not to have a detail1.bmp file active. You might try adding one from ORBX\ORBX\Scripts\Aero\Source. You will find several choices in the named folders. The file should go into scenery\World\texture and be allowed to overwrite. You will also need 16x anisotropic filtering set. It definitely cleared up the blurries, however I have no runway numbers or centerline. Any other suggestions?
Nick Cooper
Try reinstalling it now.
iflygary
I've reinstalled both Harvey and Squamish and the issues still persist.
Nick Cooper
Sorry, no, not at the moment. I have done the same and see the runway markings.

Nick Cooper
Unlikely. Do you have 64 items in ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_AA_S43\Scenery and 162 items in ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_AA_S43\texture?
iflygary
Nick, yes I do have 64 and 162 items respectively.
Nick Cooper
It will be correctly installed. Can you post a copy of your scenery library please?
iflygary
Nick my apologies for just getting back with you. I had an engagement for the evening and did not return home until very late last night. Is this what you are referring to???
Nick Cooper
Sorry, I meant C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\scenery.cfg

Scott Harmes
I'm not 100% sure, but this could be an issue with ObjectFlow in P3DV4. Here are a couple of screenshots of my CYSE Airport with ObjectFlow disabled (the runway is default (REX)): Please check your FTX Central 3 settings to make sure ObjectFlow 2 is enabled. Try also cycling the setting if it is already enabled (Disable it, save, then enable and save). Cheers,
Nick Cooper
Yes, that is my conclusion too. Here is S43 with your scenery.cfg file and objectflow off and on
iflygary
Scott, Thanks for your suggestion!! It looks as though your Squamish isn't showing up correct as well. Most of your buildings are not present just as mine. As you can see Nick has been trying to find a solution. Hopefully there will be one soon. I will try your suggestion now and then report back. iflygary
Dang, I thought for sure we were on to something but looks as though the problem is still there. I disabled object flow. Restarted my computer. I then enabled object flow again after I did a restart. I also disabled the hot air balloons just to make sure I would see the new scenery download. The changes took place without the hot air balloons but still no runway markings.
Nick Cooper
In which case, objectflow is still not working on your PC. Make sure that you have and are using FTX Central version 3.3.0.6 and P3D v4.3 Go to C:\Users\your name\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\Orbx ObjectFlow 2 and open add-on.xml. Make sure that the text reads thus: Quote <SimBase.Document Type="AddOnXml" version="4,0" id="add-on"> <AddOn.Name>Orbx ObjectFlow 2</AddOn.Name> <AddOn.Description>Allows Orbx scenery to display dynamic content.</AddOn.Description> <AddOn.Component> <Category>DLL</Category> <Path>C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local\Orbx\FTXCentral\v3.3.0.6\Orbx_ObjectFlow_x64.dll</Path> <DLLStartName>module_init</DLLStartName> <DLLStopName>module_deinit</DLLStopName> </AddOn.Component> </SimBase.Document> Make sure that the objectflow box on your FTX Central settings page is ticked and that you have clicked on Save. Make sure that the objectflow box in your P3D add-ons menu is ticked, if not the simulator must be restarted after the box is ticked.
FrAG_archer
Same issue: But I have only 3.2.5.9 version installed. And FTX Central doesn't offer any other update...

Nick Cooper
There is not yet a version 4.4. Please start P3D and use the About drop down to confirm the version. Thanks. Quote where can I get 3.3.0.6 Here

Nick Cooper
Please run through my checklist. Missing objectflow does indeed replicate your problem and reinstating it is the cure.

Nick Cooper
Hello, something is preventing your objectflow from working and this is causing all your problems with the airports. Here is the evidence. 1. Please make sure that your anti virus software is not interfering with it. 2. Please go to C:\Users\your name\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons and delete the Orbx ObjectFlow 2 folder. 3.Please install a new copy of FTX Central, like this: and then update it to version 3.3.0.6, run it and wait until you have seen "Activating Orbx scenery" 4. Make sure that the objectflow box on your FTX Central settings page is ticked and that you have clicked on Save. 5. Make sure that the objectflow box in your P3D add-ons menu is ticked, if not the simulator must be restarted after the box is ticked. Try S 43 again.
