donbrindles
One of the features that I like about Skyvector is that for any airport it lists nearby airports with instrument procedures. I went to KEGE, Eagle County Regional Airport, and one of the nearby airports listed is KAJZ: Blake Field Airport, about 74 miles away. I decided on a short flight from KAJZ to KEGE...but KAJZ seems to be missing from P3D4.2!. Anyone else tried to find it? Don
Nick Cooper
Hello Don, it seems that it is not in P3D, so probably not in FSX either and there is no trace of a version of it at the Avsim Library, Flightsim.com library or in the FSX freeware index. Perhaps it's a good opportunity to launch a career in airfield modelling.
Smudger
Hello Don, it is in google earth and should you follow Nick's suggestion here is your starter for
donbrindles
Nick and Smudger, thank you so much for your speedy replies. I'm wondering if back in the days of FSX's early iterations KAJZ didn't exist - presumably LM used FSX's airport database in developing P3D, so airports missing from FSX are also missing from P3D. Regarding a new career for me as airport modelling, I'm flattered - but am more than happy to leave such work to our wonderful orbx modellers! By the way, any chance of a freeware KAJZ - no harm in asking! Don
