active Global Base installation problem

Hello,

I have purchased the Orbx Global base in 2015 with order Nr. FSS0428788 and I am trying to install it on a clean installation of FSX Steam edition on a windows 7 operating system.

It previosly worked well with an older installation of FSX SE on the same computer.

During the installation process there is a step where the installer asks me to chose a version. However, the dropdown menu does not show any versions to chose from and i cannot sucessfully finish the installation.

Hello and thank you for the swift reply and information.

If I have understood Nick Coopers Post correctly, it refers to a commercial tweaking program which I would have to purchase separately to apply the method depicted in his post.

I would prefer though to get support in regard to my question from the ORBX team related to their product and not having to buy and install otherwise unrelated third party software.

...by the way, the same problem as mentioned in my initial post occurs with other ORBX scenery that I have purchased in the past and now want to re install it.

Hello,

Please find the TweakFS Utility here and use it as outlined in the link.

You will indeed encounter the same problem when attempting to install

any of the products as the fault is as a result of your misinstallation of FSX-SE

and not in the products or their installer.
