Larry_R
Hello, Please read through all of this thread; it discusses a number of causes of why ObjectFlow2 is not working along with how to fix it.
Nick Cooper
Hello, this also confirms that your objectflow is not working, despite your apparent belief that it is, as stated in your topic on S93.
flying_fish
Thanks both. Ah ha! Just going through this I see on my PC the path to Orbx ObjectFlow 2 (as shown in the Add-on menu in the sim) is via OneDrive : C:\Users\myname\OneDrive\Documents|Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\Orbx ObjectFlow 2 Other addons are installed in: C:\Users\myname\Documents|Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\Orbx ObjectFlow 2 Is this as it should be - I don't use Onedrive for anything else...?? flying_fish
Yep, deleted the Onedrive copy, as in Fischkopp's thread. Objectflow 2 now shows the correct path on the drop down menu in the sim. The reason I thought it was working is that I loaded a few others e.g. KMRY and it seemed object flow was working fine.... you got me again Nick! Now S93 has scenery displaying OK - chase plane has died, but I suspect my P3D files folder is also on OneDrive - Could Windows 10 be complicating things again!! I keep learning! flying_fish
It just goes to show that these guys on support are worth their weight in gold - especially as Nick is probably having to clear his drive of snow at the same time! Thanks Both!
Larry_R
Hello Andy, I'm glad you got it working. I'm guessing that from your photos you are using have 'dynamic vegetation' ticked (meaning you are using SpeedTrees). I would suggest unticking dynamic vegetation at least as a trial. Forested areas in the Pacific Northwest look a lot better using what LM calls 'legacy' trees. You can see the difference in your screenshot. The darker trees in the foreground are controlled with ObjectFlow rather than the autogen system; they are the types of trees that I think best fits the area.
