I use FSX with Acceleration Pack, Windows 7, FTX Global, FTX LC Europe no Vector. GSX is not working with the Airports of ICELAND Demo. It tolds me "There are no parkings available"... The Problem with BIHU is that the Trees a verry close to the Runway?! Nick Cooper Posted November 21, 2017 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Hello, I suspect that there are trees near the runway at BIHU in the real world, maybe just not quite so tall. What i did is just use the search function of the Microsoft FSX Folder. But as it looks, that did not found the other Scenery or what else it is. Penz Posted November 22, 2017 Share Posted November 22, 2017 In my ORBX Iceland demo installation, the AFCAD for BIEG is "[FS]\ORBX\FTX_OLC\OLC_EU8\Scenery\01_APTBIEG.BGL". So sad... Nick Cooper Posted November 22, 2017 Share Posted November 22, 2017 Hello, before you go through any more of the Iceland demo airports, it might be a good idea to reinstall it. So far, you have seen two errors at two airports that I cannot replicate with a correctly installed Iceland demo and no other files. As for GSX, it appears to use the airport elevation adjustment file instead of the airport file. Possibly because the airport file is in an unusual format. Did you check the middle of the RWY @BIAR ? At the begining of RWY 01 it looks good. Any chance to contact the Developer of the Iceland Demo ? I went back to my archives and realized that I don't have a flatten under the whole runway so I've added one. Please replace the files of the same name in your OLC_EU8/Scenery folder with these. Neil Hill Posted November 22, 2017 Share Posted November 22, 2017 HI guys, The ONLY way you would notice this issue is if you looked from the side of the runway towards it at just the right angle (and location) and/or, as Stephan did, notice the aircraft sink into the runway, which you wouldn't do if you were in it when it took off.
