ferondoe
After installing P3Dv4.1 I run the tool troubledhooter migration, and in my file migration_missing.txt I have this: Files requiring migration: Wales Orbx \ FTX_EU \ FTX_EU_WLS_08_CUSTOM \ texture \ 063b2an1.agn Orbx \ FTX_EU \ FTX_EU_WLS_08_CUSTOM \ texture \ 063b2fa1.bmp Orbx \ FTX_EU \ FTX_EU_WLS_08_CUSTOM \ texture \ 063b2hw1.bmp Orbx \ FTX_EU \ FTX_EU_WLS_08_CUSTOM \ texture \ 063b2lm1.bmp Orbx \ FTX_EU \ FTX_EU_WLS_08_CUSTOM \ texture \ 063b2m11.bmp Orbx \ FTX_EU \ FTX_EU_WLS_08_CUSTOM \ texture \ 063b2sp1.bmp Orbx \ FTX_EU \ FTX_EU_WLS_08_CUSTOM \ texture \ 063b2su1.bmp Orbx \ FTX_EU \ FTX_EU_WLS_08_CUSTOM \ texture \ 063b2wi1.bmp -------------------- Invalid files: Orbx \ FTX_AU \ FTXAU05_ROADS \ Scenery \ cvx_Orbx_Australia_Railroads_S20-28_W.BGL Orbx \ FTX_AU \ FTXAU05_ROADS \ Scenery \ cvx_Orbx_Australia_Roads_SF-SG-53.BGL Orbx \ FTX_AU \ FTXAU16_SHORES \ Scenery \ cvx_Orbx_Australia_hydro_SC-SF_55_Cairns.BGL Orbx \ FTX_AU \ FTXAU18_CUSTOM \ Scenery \ 500_LC_8637_Cooktown.bgl Orbx \ FTX_AU \ FTXAU26_SHORES \ Scenery \ CVX_Orbx_Australia_Hydro_SG-56_BRI.BGL Orbx \ FTX_AU \ FTXAU26_SHORES \ Scenery \ CVX_Orbx_Australia_Hydro_SH-56_ARM.BGL What should I do for this? Smudger
Hello ferondoe, You can delete ORBX\User documents\Versions\FTX_AUSTRALIA.TXT run FTX Central – Oceania and from the Australia icon, select install product. FTX Central will check the files and download only what is required. And delete ORBX\User documents\Versions\FTX_EU_WLS.TXT run FTX Central – Europe – EU Wales, select install product. FTX Central will check the files and download only what is required. Smudger.

Sundancer
Just curious.....what exactly is the 'Troubleshooter Migration' tool. It definitely has something to do with problems during migration and because of the fact that I don't have to migrate because I only run FSX, the tool is probably not interesting for me? Is that correct? My Orbx sceneries: 4 DVD's (full regions in NA) migrated succesfully through the Crossgrade, the rest (only full regions in Europe) recently bought and installed through FTXCV3 without problems. Sundancer
Is there anyone who can explain to me what the 'Troubleshooter Migration' tool is....just curious? See also previous post. Cheers Fred
Smudger
Hello Sundancer, Doing a google for Orbx Troubleshooter Migration has shown the following information. Go to Settings -> Troubleshooting -> Force Migration. This will re-start the migration process, automatically using the files from the updated Orbx Libraries. Any issues with the migration should now be resolved (try checking in your simulator). Don't know if this makes you any wiser. Smudger.
Nick Cooper
Hello Fred, Not so long ago, it was necessary to use FTX Central to select which FTX region before flying in it. Although some customers were resistant to the idea, it was widely recognised and requested that one should be able to fly in Orbx scenery anywhere, without the need to first run FTX Central. This was implemented but it required that certain files were rearranged to make this work. The migration tool does this and the Migration Troubleshooting utility was provided to allow customers to check that the process has been completed successfully and if not, what needs to be done to put things right. Sundancer
Hello Smudger and Nick, Thank you for your answers. Now I remember that I have already done that on advice from Nick when I switched from FTXCV2 to V3. I just did not realize (synonym for... 'I forgot') that that process was called the Migration Troubleshooting tool. So, puzzle solved....thanks! Regards Fred
