what does railway skirting and road skirting mean in the configurator

i was looking at the europe config what does road and railway skirting mean do we tick it or not ??

it is the edges of the road or rail beyond the hard surface or track.

You can enable it or not, as you prefer.

I just ran into this myself. What is the difference between skirting checked and unchecked? What can I expect?

If not, you will see only the road or railway.
