andersn2
I reinstalled my fsx steam and managed to intstall orbx libraries and Orbx Global base pack, after install of base pack I migrated on suggestion. But now Ftx central crashes when I try to install any other of my Orbx produts in Fsx Steam. But I can still install in my P3D v4 sim with ftx central without crash. I attach logfile ftxc3.log

andersn2
Today I reed the logfile, and of cause you are right. After preinstall Fsx steam, it named all folders, both in programdata and user appdata local and roaming to FSX. The problem was solved by rename them all to FSX-SE, I hope. I must now reinstall all my ORBX Products. Here in Sweden it is night soon, and I leave my computer with downloads in progress.
Nick Cooper
Good luck with that. If the folders were named FSX, that is where FSX Steam Edition will look. If you rename them to FSX-SE, FTX Central will write to them but FSX Steam Edition will still be looking at the FSX folders.
uncle_adolph
Is this akin to my own (solved) problem as in here? Whether it is or isn't simply re-naming the folders won't solve it.
