getting new SA LC to my offline flight computer

Recommended Posts

Dear ORBX. HELP! Turns out that the computer tech I've used for several years to download and upgrade ORBX products has left the area. He would take my computer and do his magic via his professional internet connections. But now I'm on my own, and my only internet connection is at the public library. Question--is it possible for me to download the new ORBX Central 3 and the SA LC to a thumbdrive and then take it home for installation on my flight computer? If not, any suggestions as to addressing my problem? Thanks.

Hi, Rodger,

Yes you can do a manual download to your thumbdrive, but I would highly recommend you use a download manager such as IDM and do a manual download from your Orbx Direct account web page (this is where a download manager works great) and click on the account button top of page, then find and click on the product info, and in the bottom line small print there is a manual download option, down load it and save it in a named folder, then open FTXC3 and select it, and click on the orange "installation options" and select "Install from my manually downloaded .zip". as per the below links. :)
