vegasjon777
Hi there! I'm in FSX and have SoCal installed. When I flew into KSFO it looked fine until about 100 ft off the ground and the textures started being replaced by grass over the entire airfield. I thought it was an airport level issue, so i ran the Vector elevation process and it still didnt fix it. I do have the latest libraries and everything is up to date...Any suggestions? Holger Sandmann
Hi there, this type of issue typically happens if another add-on for that airport uses a different reference altitude but has higher display priority than our version. If you don't know which add-on that might be run a Windows Explorer search of your entire flightsim folder tree for all .bgl files that include the airport's ICAO as part of their names -- e.g., search term *KSFO*.bgl -- and post a list or screenshot of the results with full file names and folder paths. An example of such a list is shown here: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/134687-kmry-elevation-issue/?do=findComment&comment=1195382 How to post screenshots in our forum: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/122913-how-to-post-a-screenshot/ Cheers, Holger
vegasjon777
oops! I meant NoCal- I have both installed...Also, I dont have any addons installed that should take priority for that layer other than NoCal...Screenshot of .bgl files is below-

Holger Sandmann
Hi there, try renaming the AFX_KFSO.bgl, the last entry in your list, from .bgl. to .OFF. That file isn't part of the Orbx set and probably the incompatible one. Note that there may be other airport files in that Traffic360 folder (or elsewhere) that also overlap with the installed FTX Regions. To deal with more than one airport at a time you can use the free Simple Airport Scanner to look for duplicates: http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/threads/simple-airport-scanner-1-70-beta.440300/ Cheers, Holger
vegasjon777
Hello Holger: After deleting t hat one file it still showed the grass over the airfield. I tried running the Vector Elevation app and it didn't fix it. Should I try removing and re-adding the NorCal addon again? I've posted two screenshots showing the issue and another with the .bgl listing showing that one file is gone. I haven't gone around and checked a lot of the other airports yet. Also, I ran that tool you mentioned and it didnt detect any duplicate files.
vegasjon777
I did find another- I have the CRM addon and this is KTWF. I checked the scenery folder for othe bgl's as well...Not sure what else would cause this unless you have any more ideas.
