Triplane Posted June 22, 2017 Share Posted June 22, 2017 Two stories about the iconic 747 which I will always remember: My mother canceled trip to Cairo on a 747-100 because they had in a piano in the first-class lounge. She was convinced it was too heavy to fly. My family and I relocated from California to New York on a 747-200. Our kids were 7 and 10 years old. They loved the piano in the first-class lounge, I guess it's all a matter of perspective.......... The Queen will always be my favorite. I guess I've logged a half-million miles on her (RL).
