active FTX Aus SP4 upgrade to AU Australia

Have upgraded from FTXSP4 to AU Australia and the end result is not a pretty sight. All the buildings have no walls, and the roofs just float in the air. The landscape is terrible, with big square patches in blue, the sea scape is the same, I was quite happy with the original setup, and thought that an upgrade would make it even better, Not so, it's simply horrible. All my simulator settings are as recommended in the reference guide. If this cannot be rectified, is it possible to return to the original Aus SP4, without having to download it.

Using Windows 7 Home premium 64bit, with FSX Gold.

Hi Neil,

 

Please apply the below procedure,

 

Ensure the Orbx Libs are installed and up to date. (is there a blue notification above the settings button in FTXC3?)

Ensure all of your 3rd party addons are at the top of your scenery library and above your FTX entries.

Then in FTX Central 3 Insertion points, move "FTX entries should be inserted below"  just below your last 3rd party addon.

Then move the "openLC entries should be inserted below"  just below your FTX entries. and click "Save".

Then run the "Force Migration" option.

Finally Click on the "Clear Temp" button.

Then, there is a Vector control panel access button at the bottom of the FTXC3 settings page. When you open it you can select the amount of road coverage etc, be sure to uncheck the "Frozen Surface (in winter only)"option, then go to the Airport Elevation Correction (AEC tool) tab and run the auto configuration process and be sure to click on "Appy" when it is done scanning.

in addition to the above suggestions, what exactly do you mean by "Have upgraded from FTXSP4 to AU Australia"? Did you have the complete FTX AU SP4 installed and then added the new v4,1 service pack from http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/133874-ftx-australia-410-patch/ or are you talking about something else?
