__pf__
Hello guys I am seriously hoping to get some help out of the community! I have bought ftx global, vector and openlc europe a week ago.Since then i have been trying to install all 3 of them but it doesnt work because they seem to work against each other.I currently use P3DV3.3 but I also tried it with V3.2. As soon as i had all three installed I loaded up the program and started flying.I flew in Vienna(using P3VV3.2) and the textures were not loading correctly- there were the standard P3D textures until I had flown over that area-then they suddenly appeared.I have no idea why though.Soon after i completely tried to uninstall all my P3D addons and switched to P3DV3.3.I first installed ftx global and went for a testflight in vienna again.Everything worked and the textures loaded correctly. Then i installed ftx vector and the textures didnt load correctly again! It seems that the standard P3D textures overlap with the ftx textures.I havent installed anything else since then and came up in this forum to try and get some Help of guys that have/had the same problem.I am still trying to install it correctly but it doesnt work. If somebody may know a solution please tell me because of 3 of the packages were pretty expensive(ca. 160€) and that´s a lot of money for something that is not working correctly. !!!PLEASE TRY TO HELP ME!!!! Slayer
Slow loading textures are usually caused by running unlimited FPS. You'll have to give a bit more detail on the other problems.

Jon Clarke
Do you only have Global, Vector & OLC EU installed and no other addons? If so send a pic of your Library Insertion Points. There may be a problem in your scenery layer priorities. Any way I suggest you do the following first even if it is a repeat of what you have done already. Follow the steps. 1. Install Global 2. Install Vector v.130, v135 & v140 3. Install OLC EU 4 Install the latest orbxlibraries 160708 5.Open FTX Central to let the sceneries "apply" themselves. 6. In FTX Cenral go to"Troubleshooting" located under the headings of General,Uncategorised, Tools 7. Click on Force Migration and let it run. It may take several minutes. You will see it doing file reading in DOS. 8. When the Migration is finished, go to you sim directory on disk?/P3D/ORBX. 9. You will see in the ORBX folder a file called Troubleshooter. Open the file and run the Migration Troubleshooter application. 10. Take a pic of the end result of the Troubleshooter screen. If all your installed FTX addons are shown in Green and the comments at the bottom are saying all files are correct etc, then you are good to go. 11. Now, since you have Vector, Open the Vector Configuration Tool. This will be in your P3D/ORBX/FTX Vector folder. I suggest you add the Tool to your desktop for future use. Go to Airport Elevation Corrections in the Vector Tool and click on Run Auto-Configuration. Let it it run it's course. When it tells you it is done, then make sure you click on Apply. Then Exit.. 12. Open you sim up and choose a flight within the OLC EU scope ( like Vienna) 13. Report back your findings.
__pf__
Hello jayyce, THANKS A LOT FOR UR HELP -I APPRECIATE IT-but when i ran the troubleshooter in step 9/10 this happened What should I do now?! Phil
Jon Clarke
That was quick !! You did all of my suggestions including reinstalls in just over 10 minutes?? Please confirm you did all the processes I suggested. I could not have installed Global, 3 vector installs, OLC EU + libraries+ and run Vector AEC in that time. I believe you. Once you have confirmed I will see what else can be done.
__pf__
Thanks for the answer, And i had already installed them and didnt install them a second time- But here is another question-Is it possible to completely uninstall ftxglobal+vector+openlc and then re-install. !?Please tell me how I can delete all files with ftxglobal+vector+openlc so that I can follow ur steps one by one from the beginning!? Thanks for the fast help!
Jon Clarke
Simplest way is to go into the P3D/ORBX folder and delete the addons because really you want to reinstall the scenery aspects of the addons. I would suggest you first just reinstall Global because that is the one showing as having missing files. Just install over the top of the existing installation. OLC seems OK according to your Troubleshooter report as well, so leave that for now. See how you get on with that first and remember to follow the process from line 4-13. I am sure we will resolve your issue but you will need to ensure all steps are followed. We will then see what else we can do. A PIA I know but thats simming ! Phil Hi Phil, first of all, you have missing files reported in the migration tool, so you should open ftxcentral and choose force migration, thereafter run the troubleshooter again and check if all installed is on green. Then go for a test flight... cheers Thorsten

__pf__
It is me again for my final question!! Is it normal that the standard P3D building are still placed over the orbx textures?! Thanks for the help, Phil
TheGreenToad
16 hours ago, __pf__ said: Is it normal that the standard P3D building are still placed over the orbx textures?! Yes, it is. ORBX doesn't have any products that replace the default autogen buildings - not yet at least, they're currently working on FTX HD Buildings for exactly this purpose (like they did with FTX HD Trees for autogen trees).
