On the plus the weather was good, if a little hazy. The plan was to fly from Southend to Lydd and back again. We took a Cessna 152, callsign G-BOLW.

 

On startup I had signs of a right magneto drop (timepoint 2:05 below) which clears on the power checks. This was a sign of how the day was going to go. 5 minutes into the flight, the camera mount decides to break so we stop recording rather than disrupt the cockpit. Video should be a bonus not a distraction.

 

On arrival at Lydd, the shutdown checks indicated a bag right mag again. After a 30 min break we go back to the aircraft and the now the right mag is un-serviceable. We have to wait 4 hours for a rescue flight from the club.
